I purchased my KFP740CR food processor as a Deal of the Day special and a deal it was...I received it in perfect condition, the packaging was such that every part was padded and protected. The processor is powerful, efficient and relatively quiet. I love the feature of the mini bowl! You use it while it is nested within the big bowl and it doesn't dirty the larger bowl. I had been looking for a food processor for over a year and I am glad I was picky and didn't "settle"... This is the best food processor I have ever owned..I highly recommend it to anyone and everyone who cooks.

I bought this for Christmas for my boyfriend, who works in a restaurant and loves to cook. It is exactly what you expect. Very sturdy, does not feel or look inexpensive, and it works great. It is a little heavy but its too pretty to even care. He loves it, and it was the best price anywhere, and trust me I looked!!

I am absolutely thrilled with this purchase. My husband had been trying to get me to update my "old" food processor for several years, but since it was still operable, I had been resisting. The old one finally quit on me so I was able to make this upgrade. Gosh, I wish I'd made it sooner. My new KitchenAid 9 Cup Food Processor is just fantastic! There is no comparison. The motor is rather quiet, the attachments work like a dream, and finally, because it also has the 4 cup mini bowl, I get to use it more often. I highly recommend this product.

Let's be honest, when you talk about small kitchen appliances, the best names or at least the most popular is Kitchen aid and Cuisinart. Can can purchase food processors and mixers for far less than the cost of the two leaders, but there is a reason shy you pay more, and you get what you pay for.

Here is some history:

I received a 3 cup electric food chopper a couple years ago. Now let's go to today. I love this food processor. I have made salsa, carrot cake and the icing recipe that comes with the food processor and now I am baking bread with the processor.


This processor weights a lot, it is easy to use, easy to clean and I went from making salsa in 10 minutes to making salsa in just a few minutes. Kinda makes me wonder why I waited so long.

This chopper is barely big enough to make salsa. To chop onions, you have to pick the chopper up and shake it violently to get the onions chopped up.
For bigger jobs, I also have a manual food chopper. You can say I was too cheap to purchase the right tool for the right job.

I purchased this processor 3 weeks ago and have used it almost daily. The motor is strong and the processor is easy to use, dissassemble, and clean. It is also versatile in its ability to perform numerous varied tasks. For the money I would rate it as excellent and well worth buying.
